Why are UTC's prices often less than quotes I receive from direct carriers?

Direct reps represent the carriers they work for, not the customer. They are incented to sell their products or services and nothing else. We are direct customer advocates. We are incented to find our customers the best solution for the best price and keep our customers happy. We create a competitive environment and let carriers know they have to be competitive if they want to win your business. This technique allows us to deliver rock bottom prices and high customer satisfaction. It is our goal to keep you as a satisfied customer forever!

Are we resellers of communication services?

No! We are carrier business partners representing and advocating for our customers. We operate much like an insurance brokerage, but for business communication services. Your service, billing and additional customer service will be provided directly by the carrier you choose. You will also have one of our consultants as a contact for all your business communication needs. So even if your solution consists of multiple vendors, you will still have one primary number to call.  

Why use UTC vs a direct sales rep from a carrier?

At United Telecom, our consultants have more experience than most direct sales reps and are looking to develop long-term relationships. UTC provides the benefit of experience, unbiased information and multiple carrier quotes. Typically, a direct rep is paid only once to up your account then moves on to the next company, or you may even have to call into and 800 number where you get someone different every time. Carriers have high turnover in their sales representative positions. As carrier business partners we are paid a residual on your account over time, not an up front payment like a direct rep.
